About the Job
Looking for a Controls Technician to program, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs and HMIs for a direct hire position. Previous experience as a Maintenance Controls Tech, Controls Electrician, Field Service Tech, Controls Engineer is desired.
Responsibilities of the Controls Technician:
- Layout, design, build, wire, install, program, and troubleshoot electrical control panels, junction boxes, limit switches, sensors, motors (AC/DC), conduit, and other electrical components.
- Commission new machines.
- Wire new machines and equipment with the latest electrical controls and components.
- Program, troubleshoot, and modify Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
- Integrate, troubleshoot, and modify automation systems.
Desired requirements of the Controls Technician:
- Experience programming, troubleshooting, and modifying PLCs and HMIs.
- Experience wiring machines.
- Able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Familiar with electrical codes and standards.
- Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is a plus.
- Experience in programming robotics is a plus.
- Able to travel 45% of the time.
- Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
Pay: $30 - 40/hr
